i've kept a few blogs over the years.. since 2003... back when blogging was something cool and generation Y was stilling ruling the internet scene. but eventually i've lost interest or even the motivation to keep it running. dont get me wrong i'm an avid blog reader yet over these past years i was working so hard on handling (surviving?) my late 20s that putting things down in words was the least of my concerns. but oh boy do i miss having my thoughts and pictures organized and documented... (drama alert!)... when i look back at my older blogs i feel very thankful for past barbara taking the time... so my plan now is to take the time and keep the journal... so future barbara can be just as appreciative.
marco and i met in college 10 years ago . we became good friends and began to date in 2010. we managed to go through over 3 years of long distance dating and a lot of traveling - 115,000km to be accurate - finally moving in together back in may 2013. we'll get "properly married" in less than 2 weeks and even though i never pictured myself as a bride i'm quite excited about it. (but more of that later on, i promise)
we live in apartment 703, or "apartamento" in portuguese, which narrows down to "apto 703". as you might have guessed by now this blog is about our daily life and the joy we end up finding in it.
